Neutral vs Natural Makeup
During my makeup consultations with clients, I often receive requests for natural makeup. However, I never rely on their verbal descriptions and always ask for pictures to ensure that I understand their vision correctly. In most cases, the images provided are not truly natural makeup, but rather neutral tones.
Natural makeup is all about minimalism, without using heavy highlight, contour, baking, or anything that masks the true skin. I personally love creating a soft glam neutral makeup look, which consists of neutral tones, contouring/highlighting, medium buildable coverage foundation, and a neutral tone lip color that complements the skin tone.
